Good questions

There are lots of things in the world that don’t make sense.

Asking good questions is a way to step out of your world for a little while to check and make sure things are still working the way you intended. It’s also a way to nudge someone else to check on how they’re faring.

Often, we get into our routines to get through the day. We decide on the things we gotta do, put our heads down, and get to it. Habits are a beautiful way for us to be efficient and productive. However, if we don’t stop and see where we are every once in awhile, we may find we have strayed from where we initially set out to go. Whoopsies.

Think of these questions as your ticket out of The Matrix.

How’s that working out for you?

So what are you gonna do about it?

Why do I have to choose? Can’t I have both?

Says who?

What did you learn today?

Did you have fun today?

Can you teach me something?

  1. The best one of all time was one I heard recently. It can be used for overcoming ANY objection. It goes like this: Well I don’t know about that, but what I do know is…..and then you explain the results in the form of a story and testimonial. Crazy huh? Guess it’s not a question, but it works like one.
